I like the idea of installing an antenna and either suplementing my cable t.v. (Xfinity) or possbily eliminating it altogether.

I went to https://www.antennasdirect.com/transmitter-locator.html and I see the channels available in my area within a 50 mile radius, but how can I find a channel guide for these stations so I can get an idea of what shows they broadcast and their schedules?

Thank you,
Ed

Ed,

As long as Grit comes in... no need to look up any other channel....

BTW- recently moved to South Carolina and dropped cable TV. Just watching "free TV" (and its massive commercials), super happy to dump cable, not missing a single cable channel.

Streaming is the way to go.

Yes, we have a Roku stick and get Britbox and Netflix via that. Britbox is great, under $10 a month and filled with hundreds of programs and series that would take years to watch. Excellent programming and NO ads!!

We use a DVR with free program guide, works EXACTLY like any pay TV box.
With that said, having it at least 6 years now I cant find that model anyplace.
We did buy this one for our son and again, it works EXACTLY like PayTV box. USA only, no Canada. This is the one we bought him but I think its been replaced by the one below... https://www.amazon.com/TiVo-Recordi...words=tivo+over+the+air&qid=1627557899&sr=8-4

Company site = https://www.tivo.com/products/edge-antenna

(you can also simply do a search for a local TV program guide)
