How to prevent and or absorb fuel tank moisture

I had to replace a gas tank on my '98 Honda VFR motorcycle due to rust through. When draining tank I became aware of a small amount of water that was at the bottom rear portion of tank. This is were it rusted.

The water was probably there for quite a while but since the fuel pick up is higher there was never any indication of water in the tank.

Anyway, since fuel injected bikes don't have a fuel petcock one can't drain of any water as was done on older bikes.

Question, what can I put in the fuel to keep any moisture from collecting? I already use Sta-Bil for longer term storage.

It somewhat depends on the fuel blend. Alcohol is a fuel dryer, but it doesn't do much good if you are using a fuel blend that already has a lot of alcohol in it.

I used to use isopropol alcohol once a year or so as a fuel dryer. You don't want the 50% or even 70% stuff though. You may need to hunt for it, but you want 90% or higher if you expect it to be of any real help.

The E10 readily available if not outright mandated most places should help absorb and burn through water. This is one of the problems with the ethanol fuels ethanol absorbs water, nota problem for a daily driver but for recreational/lawn/weekend vehicles and equipment were fuel may sit in the tank you are seeing what it can do when it absorbs too much water. Of course your case could be just condensation but the alcohol based fuels will cause this.

May I suggest FP60 as a possible solution.
Its list of properties include the ability to remove the water, anti-corrosion and also fuel stabilizer. One of the most complete fuel additive I've come across and it works

dont leave the tank empty for long periods of time. top off just before parking it.

Isoheet is 100% isopropyl alcohol and is available at walmart.

The FP60 product...I've not heard of it. Who sells it?

I'm assuming the Isoheat is an automotive product?
