How to improve air filters that appear to be made out of used clothes dryer sheets?

I checked inside of the air cleaners equipt with paper air filter. On my woodchipper which operates in a very dusty environment as I normally only chip dry branches, my stump grinder which operates in unbelievably dusty conditions and my log splitter which runs slightly dusty. All were clean as a watch on the inside of the air cleaner.
I don't seem to have this problem on anything with a paper filter...
Seems to regularly happen on with felt/dryer sheet air filters.

Paper filter with a urethane foam prefilter look like this on the outside:

Clean as a watch on the inside.
That's my stump grinder air filter after maybe 2 hours of run time.
So it would appear that paper and dryer sheet air filters were not created equal.

I'm lost. Is this thread discussing Hyundai/Kia or Echo OPE? I saw pictures and mentions of both, but I'm not sure whether these are connected somehow.

They're both made of felt, dryer sheet like material. The only difference are the small engine ones are small and the passenger car ones are big. That's it. I shouldn't have included passenger vehicle and small engine air filters in the same post as some people can't seem to keep up.

For the Hyundai I got a wix filter, appears to be felt upfront and paper in the back. So party up front and business in back.
Wix fits better than oem Hyundai and microguard.
Still gave it a good going over with the K&N spray.

I scored 4 filter minders at the junk yard. Already installed one in our 1999 v8 dodge Dakota which uses a very normal very boring rectangular paper filter.
Next I'll install one in the 2018 Hyundai I doubt it will ever get a reading.
Probably install one in my firebird too.

Ok. Air and cabin filters from my rogue they both appear to have captured dirt and debris. Unknown mileage and time filters were installed was doing maintenance on the vehicle after I had purchased from an elderly lady. These were oem filters hopefully the new microgards do the same filtering the oe’s provided.

Cabin filter had the texture of a throw away face mask and air filter was a spun cotton gauze material.

I first saw these "fleece" air filters in Mitsubishis where Denso was the OEM. Wish I knew more about them or how they compared to cellulose paper filters
