How to find and close a running Youtube video?

For some reason there is a Youtube video running so when I want to open another one, the sound from both are coming through and its annoying. I checked all the Youtube icons I have at the top of the page but none of them are running. How do I find the running one so I can "X" it off?

Restart, either browser or computer. I’ve had that a couple times with Teams, it breaks so bad I have to reboot.

You appear to have 14 open tabs with Youtube. Why don't you close all of the Youtube tabs?

Not sure what browser but the last few years I have been able to click on History (under settings?) and look for something to restore all old tabs. I think there is a setting too that will automatically restore all tabs on restart.

Yes, could restore all tabs, but then I'll back to square one.

Then click through all 14 until you fine the offender.

Or, better yet, create a folder "Watch Later" and put a shortcut in there. When you have time, watch them later.

So many tabs... video auto-playing from another open tab perhaps? How do you know it is a Youtube video?

I do not see an icon atop any of those tabs to indicate sound: Are we sure it's a YouTube video and not an ad playing on another tab?

But issue might be an embedded video on a news page or ad.

History. ctrl +H to recover

The Brave Browser has a little icon that shows up on the tab that is running audio.

Cool. So I'm not the only one with this issue. And that shows a computer with a few dozen tabs open too.
