How Soon to change?

I'm approaching 5k miles on this OCI in my Civic in my sig with Ultra and a Honda A01. This is the car's first time with synthetic in the sump to my knowledge. Has 40k on the bottom end of the block and 118k on the cyl head. My driving is basically 70% highway and back roads. Should I change it soon or is it safe to go a little longer? Also contemplating whether or not to leave the A01 on again for another OCI.

Minimum 7.5K unless you want a used oil analysis to see how the engines doing

I wouldn't waste the Ultra with a short OCI. I've always gone 10k on mine (w/M1, valvoline, o Reilly, whatever) but that's factory recommendation. I know honda recommends changing oil filter every other oil change but I can't let old habits die. I always change the filter with the oil.

I'd go longer than 5k unless the engine is sludge heavy.

Forgot to mention the maintenance minder says oil life is at 50%. Thanks for the input, everyone. I'll probably run it to 6-7k miles.

Why not change it based on the maintenance minder, which will most likely be around 7-8k anyway?
