Pressure is far more important than age, imo.

Sure you could drive full speed on a full size spare, and then age would be a consideration…

But in reality one can just be careful, and older tires are fine. Be smart about them.

It can be a waste of money to arbitrarily change a spare just because of age. Though it isn’t a wrong answer…
