How often to change TP when measured in hours

How long between TP filter changes on a 20 hp engine when the running of the motor is measured in hours?

Gas or diesel ..sump size? I did a quick search ..but didn't see a direct answer. Basically as long as it gets warm, it's filtering.

Normally you would change a submicronic bypass filter when an oil change is recommended. On my 20 HP Kohlers I change the filter once a year and add a quart of oil. These are a wood chipper and a Sears lawn tractor. I like to use Perma-Cool sandwich adapters on them. My lawn tractor has no place to get pressure.
