As bad as this is, my two vehicles (VW GTI & Ford Expedition) only get washed about once every three months.

Depends on which vehicle. My Jeeps and Subaru get washed as needed. My Z gets washed nearly every weekend because of the bugs on the front. My Sentra beater gets washed every time it rains...
Every Week Here. Gotta have a clean car. I got a black ranger and a black Mazda MPV 2004. They look great when I wash and wax them.
I wash both cars every weekend including "winter". I have an '02 black Accord & want to keep it looking nice. I wash the '94 Grand Am b/c, as said above, it's very relaxing to me. I get to see good results from something I did fairly quickly. Plus, I like driving clean vehicles.
I like to wash my car in my driveway, but I'm in an apartment right now so it hasn't been cleaned since the end-of-winter wash-down.

I simply can't find the time to do it more than once a month. I actually wash cars more in the winter, when they really need it... and on my driveway. I can't understand people who obsess over their cars during the summer, but allow them to rot during the wintertime.
I've washed the T-bird only twice in the last 3 yrs..shame on me! (it hardly shows dirt due to color, though)

When we had our 96 Jimmy, it got washed pretty much weekly because the salt trucks drop it down heavy. It almost seems a little like a waste when we knew that we would only be keeping it for five years, probably could have gotten away with once a month and still been rust free after 5 years. Meh
I find car washing as relaxing as anything I do but try to limit myself to one wash per car per week. And, then I try to not wash unless the car really needs it. It has been two weeks since the last rain and neither of our cars really need washing. Can somebody please bring me a car to wash. I might even throw in a wax job and interior cleaning.

As soon as I get caught in the rain, I wash my car as soon as possible. Otherwise I just use my California duster to keep it clean. Since I have underground parking at work, I miss a lot of the rainstorms, so I can sometimes go a month without needing to wash my car! I always wipe off the brake dust from my rims everyday too, they dust up so fast!
I probably average about twice a week on my car and about once a week on the wife's car. Sometimes I will wash it 3 or 4 times in a week. Although I have a sealant (Klasse) on my car that lasts for at least 6 months, I still wax (love the carnauba look) my car at least every other week. I can wax the car in less time than it takes me to wash it so it is not really a big deal and I like my ride to look good. Yes, I am obsessive/compulsive.
