Maybe I am a litte O.C.D. about it but I check my oil everytime I fill up with gas. (about once a week or every 200-250 miles)
Sometimes I will check the oil half way through the tank of gas. The funny thing is niether of my vehicles ever use oil but I check it anyways for the helll of it.

I can't be the only obsessive oil checker around here!

I instructed my little brother and sister to check their's at each fill up because I'm guessing they'll only remember once in a while.

I check mine every other tank but my Jeep has never used any oil since it used a 1/2 quart the first 1k miles when new.

You're definitely not alone.

I check the oil in all of my vehicles at least once or twice a week - and none of them burn or use any oil.

I know it doesn't mean much and it's dorky as heck, but I like to see how the color of the oil changes over time/use.

Generally at least once a week for sure on the Toyota, uses just a tad; sometimes only once every 2 weeks on the Rodeo, never uses any.

Most definitely just before leaving town.

I can't believe OCD is actually becoming fashionable or widely excepted, but if that's the case.... I'm alright with that. It kind of puts people like me (whom have OCD for real) in a better light.

After having this horrible disease all my life; it's nice to know that I'm finally starting to be in vogue.

I try and check mine at the very least every two weeks. I spend a lot of time in my garage, so it is nothing to just pop the hood and check it, along with the other fluid levels.

Almost all of the time, everything is fine, but once in a while the oil will be a little low so I'll just top it off, along with wiper fluid.

Every 600-700 miles with my beater 94-Caravan - then it's usually a half-quart low. Oil checks on any vehicle really depends on prior consumption & leaks issues. I constantly look underneath my vehicles for leaks. The newer vehicles I only check every 1K - know what it's going to read on the dipstick - even before I look at it. They generally only need top-off with windshield washer fluid. My Colorado never consumes oil for the entire 7K OCI. My 99 S-10 may use a half-quart in 4K.

It's like some kind of religious ritual -- I check the oil in my 2 cars (2005 Camry and 1997 Maxima) on the first Saturday of each month. Neither of them use any oil.

I don't have a set interval, all I can say is that I check it a couple of times between changes, and always when I'm hitting the road for a longer trip. And when I'm on said trip, I'll generally check it once a day, usually first thing in the morning.

I usually check my vehicle's oil level at least once a week, but check my motorcycle before every ride. Checking it properly is just as important as checking often. Stone cold or at 5min. after shutdown at operating temp.

Once a week for the car, typically on the weekend.

Checking the oil for the motorcycle is much simpler, put bike on centre stand and take a peek at the oil window on the side of the engine

Once in a month or 1000ml,whatever comes first. Unless you have junk car I don’t see any reason to check more often.

Once every 1000-1500 miles or so if I remember. Gosh...I just realized the car is due for an oil change...6500 miles already on 10mo old dino.
