For those who want to cut to the chase here's my question: What percentage of LC burns off between the 1000 mile add points?

Here's the more in depth version of the question:
I'm under the impression that some of the LC put into a car burns off/evaporates/whatever after its put in, and some of it does not and extends oil life/prevents oxidation, etc. Lets say that I have a car that's oil is exactly on the full mark. I add 5 oz of LC (1 oz per quart). Assume 0 oil consumption, that the only change on the dipstick would be from a change in amount of LC. 1000 miles later, how many ounces of LC would have burned off?

I'm at roughly 1,300 miles on my first application of LC in a car that in the past has not burned oil, so it's a good one to evaluate LC consumption. So far, no noticeable change in oil level.

I added 5 ounces at initial fill (about 1 oz/qt) then fussed around with the oil level to get it exactly even with the full mark when parked in my garage. Then added one more oz of LC at about 1,100 miles.

I should be able to see a level change of 1 hash mark, that's about 1/12 qt or 2.7 Oz. It hasn't dropped a noticable amount yet.

Thanks, guys. I must have messed up on my search because I didn't see that topic.
