I used to have a car that took an FL-400S, and those (and all the other brands' cross-references) would routinely get sold out in my area. I would always keep one of those on hand.

The current fleet takes a PF47, an FL-1A, and an L14459. I can always get those whenever I want.

I have two old Supertech filters that were intended for my mom's old 94 Probe GT but she sold that before I got the chance to use them. Other than those, I have no oil filters sitting around at all. I'm waiting for Canadian Tire to put the Mobil 1 filters on sale and then I'll buy two of them (one for each car) I don't plan on keeping large stashes of filters because they go on sale often enough up here.

I used to run the PureOne filters, but after I exhaust this supply I will switch to Motorcraft FL-400S. My recent experience with a MC filter was good. Nicely made filters IMO.

I have 4 AC Delco PF1233 filters for my 2005 Camry 2.4. I don't like the slotted center tube Champ Labs has started using and picked up all the older version filters I could find at Pep Boys and Autozone. Once those are gone I'll have to find another brand of filter to use.

Should be good for another 2 years...

Will use the Mobil 1 filter when I change oil (Mobil 1 5W20EP) in a few days...OCI 1 year and about 12,000 K.
