And the record goes to Atkovi. But how many vehicles did he actually keep for more than a year?

I've been married 46 years and have owned 44 vehicles, including those purchased for kids living at home: 4 Acuras, 1 Alfa Romeo, 1 AMC, 1 Audi, 2 BMWs, 1 Datsun, 1 Fiat, 3 Hondas, 2 Hyundais, 3 Infinitis, 2 Isuzus, 1 Jeep, 1 Mazda, 4 Nissans, 1 Pontiac, 1 Range Rover, 2 Saabs, 1 Sterling, 4 Subarus, 5 Toyotas and 3 VWs.
A year? You are being generous, he flips cars, Many of these are probably days at the most.

I have 75-80 of those now and all but maybe five for more than a year.

Your list yields an average of 18 car purchases a year, that's more than one a month. You'd have to turn over 16 cars a year on average to end up with 80 on-hand.

But as @Astro14 noted, somebody who deals/flips cars/runs a used car lot or whatever it is you do, really isn't in the spirit of this thread.

Only 4 (see signature below) in 51 years, only two of which I bought new.

During my life, my parents owned, in order of first appearance, and including two pickup trucks:
1 Willys,
6 GM,
1 AMC,
1 Ford,
3 Chrysler,
1 Subaru, &
1 Toyota.
Of those 14, at least four died before reaching 100k miles. Only one, the oldest GM, made it past 100k miles while they owned it; the Toyota did later. (Others indeterminate, because sold while still running.)

Was this one of those deals where someone starts with a paper clip and trades junk up until they get a car?
No. Every car on the flip/trade list was either sold for a profit or traded for a car that made a profit. The Eurosport was a nice car. Black with red interior, low miles.

This was fun! So interesting to see all of yours. I started driving in 1984. Did not include vehicles of my wife and kids but tossed my bikes in as they were at times my daily drivers.

One of the guys I autocross with can not keep a DD car for much over year since he started driving, he's had about 40. Ever wonder who bought a Turbo Scoupe new? He was that guy!

I've had a lot fewer since my first car in 1998. I'm a run it until its done guy I guess.
1. 1981 Olds Omega
2. 1995 Plymouth Neon
3. 2007 Focus Wagon
4. 2006 Focus Wagon

All the money I've saved has gone somewhere though!
