... to change a light bulb?

-One, of course, to do the job and post about it
-Another to question whether the light bulb needed changing
-Another to mention that he had bought several cases of light bulbs FAR at that big sale last year
-Another to suggest that the ladder didn't have the proper certifications
-And another to ask if the bulb changer is going to do a ULBA (Used Light Bulb Analysis)
-And one more to say that his favorite brand of light bulb puts out a "smoother" light

-And another to insist that OEM bulbs are dull, overpriced, and inferior to aftermarket.

Of course someone will argue that not putting lube on the threads will cause the light bulb to unscrew

Someone will insist on using a torque wrench on it. Or that it needs 3/4 of a turn after it starts to light.

Then they'll record the lumens given off when brand new then after every 100 hours.

Then, of course, there'll be a drawn out indandescent vs CFL vs LED tangent. There'll be bragging of hoarding and smuggling incandescent bulbs from Mexico.

You'll have people changing bulbs before they burn out, because "it's cheap insurance". And those excusing calling an electrician, because they "don't have time." (or a ladder or the skills)

Of course someone will be holier than thou. He doesn't need light bulbs because he gets up at the crack of dawn, and designed his house to use natural light. He has the same bulbs he put in in 1925. His original electric meter reads 00006 kilowatts. He reads the Wall St Journal until dark then does the New York Times Crossword by moonlight.

-was that synthetic lube/ boutique lube / or dead dinosaurs (or dead algae) lube?
-did the BITOGer that screw in the bulb wash his hands with soap from organic free-range cows?
-was this a left hand or right hand bulb?
-my grandma did it without a ladder while raising/cooking for 12 and smoking like a chimney and live to 98 and 3/4....
-candels are better for environment
-where is the battery for the hybrid system?

And then someone who re-states someone else's previous claim and tries to take credit for it.
