Let yourself live a little. Post in meaningless BITOG threads. After all, there's only a few of them.

I was here a long time ago. About the time I met my wife. In fact, when we met, she insisted that she had gone 30k miles in her 1998 Beetle without an oil change. In her words: "Shoes are just more interesting". Yeah, right.

I'm not sure how I joined, but that incident might have had a hand in me finding BITOG.

I have two very good friends that I met on this site, who I have been friends with since around 2013.

Been here since 2015, and what a joyful ride it has been! OCI, UOA, VOA, oils, cars, maintenance, filters, Generic/Off topic and Firearms sections… have learned so much.

…and MMO! I’m pretty sure I’m the only one in Finland, and one of the very few in Europe, who has this rare item on his shelf! She’s a beauty! European edition!

Going on six years as a member, much more as ghost before I joined to ask a question. So that's equivelent to a MS in Bitogology and I'm an egg-spurt now!
Seriously, I've learned so much from the members here.
As for the silly threads; some are just fun, some you can move on if you aren't interested. Much of the tongue in cheek and sarcasm can be missed in text messages. But members really aren't malicious here.
