Great news! How long until you get it?
I’ve read various stories! 1-5 weeks kind of times
The start to finish actual build time for a modern vehicle is remarkable fast. A week or so would be my guess, assuming everything is done in house. Touch labor hours are commonly less than 20. Logistics can vary, though. Back some years, Ford used to build Econoline van bodies in one plant, then truck transport them to a different plant for final assembly. An odd arrangement that added time to the process, that has since changed. Anyway, that info provided by Ford doesn't reflect actual "in production" time.

My Corvette was built the last week of November 2017 (in Kentucky) and it arrived at the dealership on Dec 18, 2017. I had already been waiting over three months from when I ordered it so I was going crazy!
Unless something has changed transits can’t be shipped rail. They get flatbeded
Is that good or bad? Faster or slower?
Most auto plants have dedicated rail yards just off property. Shipments are planned and often. Unless something has changed, I doubt a vehicle hangs out in the storage yard, awaiting rail transport, for more than a week, max.
Slower according to the transit forum. Medium and high roof for sure will not fit on conventional rail cars and trucks.
Too tall - makes sense

The dealer didn't get the order into Ford until Jan 22, so there is that.
