How long can gas sit around when using LC in it?

Man I have like 5 10 gallon gas tanks full of gas I use for my Lawn Mower left over from my deceased 3 wheeler that are at least 6 years old. I do not think they go bad, it works great in my Craftsman mower. I have also used them in my truck when I am short on time and need gas.

A few years ago, someone asked the LC/FP rep point blank about FP's ability to "stabil" gasoline. The rep never answered the question.

Well, their own website states that "FP also acts as a fuel stabilizer", however, you can't really infer from this that it will do exactly the same as Stabil would.

Also, most small engine manufacturers will tell you not to use fuel that is more than 90 days old, even if you did treat it with Stabil.

Not sure how long the FP would keep the gas acceptable but I have used it in my gas for my boat with good results. using the new FP+ at 1 oz to 5 gallons ( per an email from LC ) my gas sat in my boat for 5 months and I had no issues at all.

i don't know the recommended dosage for StaBil, would be interesting to compare

not that 1oz/5 gal would hurt anything but the recommended is 1oz/10 gal FP+ for those who don't know

Just finished using a container of 3 year old gas in my lawn mower. No additives, no problems. Mower is 6+ years old.

The gas that was sitting around for about 6 months with FP in it was poured into my little Saturn. After using this old batch this past week, about 10 gallons, No problems to report.

i use fp-60 and have yet to have an issue with gas. the oldest i've had around is a year old and no problems. my father has had a bunch of issues with gas without fp-60.
