From a Cold Start? .. its 50 degrees Fahrenheit here and i have the "10W-40" in my Jaguar.. it takes 8 QUARTS!! .. Someone told me it takes like 20-30 Minutes for it to warm up?
Im also tempted to take a picture of the Dipstick.. The oil is looking more on the Black side than the Brown side. I MAY consider addign the SeaFoam, then Oil and Filter change.. I can get that done for $10, just of course buying the Oil.
I was wondering how long it takes, not just my car, but in General, for the Oil to "Warm Up" .. and hit its "Non-W" Number (for example, 20W-50.. 20 when cold.. How long until its at "Full 50" and not 30 or 40 or 45?)
Thanks! Post 1.. - Joseph
