How do you prepare your auto for a road trip?

I like to throw in a plug in tire inflator and the Corvette gets a tire plug kit. Other than that my vehicles are ready to go anytime, anywhere. I like extra clothing along in the wintertime just in case I need to change a tire or go outside for any extended length of time.

Lots of good suggestions. My list would also include a 12v air compressor and tire plug repair kit.

that´s mandatory by law for me, because i have lpg tank instead of tyre.

Not much. Maybe check the oil level and check the tire pressure. If you have to do anything more than that, its probably not a car that is worth owning anyways.

Even my new cars get a once over before a long road trip, just common sense.
