The filler hole on my Audi requires a bottle with a long neck.I wish there were a bottle with an inbuilt measuring tip, like I know it from washer fluid concentrate. What type bottle do you use?
We are looking for bottles that have a better way to despense the FP. If you try another bottle make sure it is HDPE type 2. It will have a triangle with 2 inside on the bottom.
The regular bottle works good for me. I use the prop and squirt method. Just get a long screwdriver and squirt it in.
Only problem is it does not seal 100% when closed.
I use a chevron with techron bottle. Works pretty good, but it is an extra step. I'd love it if the new fuel power bottle came with a screw on attachment or something.
yugrus, I've been using a Lucas UCL bottle for about half a year now with no problems... and it's worked perfectly for me so far, both in terms of not melting/disintegrating and measuring out doses of yummy FP
I use the LC measuring bottle. I aim and squeeze the dosage I want based on the oz markings on the bottle, never wasted a drop. THen I fill the tank dribbling alittle gas before the flapper to help mix the fp into the filler neck and down it goes. Of all my cars none of them are difficult to dispense FP that way.
I just do it the way Odis showed me once. Take the cap off of the provided dispenser and use an easily cleaned, dedicated tool to hold the flap open. I can pour off two, four or six ounces easy as can be, and, per Odis, the bottle won't ever wear out.
