How big is your stash, hoarders?

Love it how you staged your picture! You should be a realtor. (y)
Staged ? How do you know this isn't how some members "decorate" ?
This is an impressively high quality photo of filters and oil! The background is creamed out too, perfect lighting. Did you take this on a phone??
Any modern smartphone could have taken that picture. The camera quality nowadays is really, really impressive. The "creamed out" background is simply having proper focus on the images in the front.

Thanks for the complement... Just a newer iPhone. This is what happens when you once took a photography class and was also a Realtor as ( slo town ) figured out...

Enough for a few years, 4 if I followed my OLM. Which I won’t. I’m not the least bit concerned about oil prices. They will be what they will be by the time I need more. For all the fear and paranoia, there sure are some good deals out there to be had. I just loaded up on redline for $12.35 a qt and hmx for the winter for $6.50 a qt. Snagged a few more 5qt jugs of Valvoline hybrid for my daughters suv to get her by for a few yrs. This is on top of the Hps and Schaeffers I have that I paid more for last year.

The problem isn’t so much the motor oil prices in the future as it is the availability of the base oils to make them. We’ve already been told that the group 3, GTL and even PAO and ester base oils are going to be in very low supply coming up. So many of our favorite oils will not have those base oils available to make them!

In addition to our 3 vehicles, I maintain 4 others for family. Each oil change uses 36 quarts. Trans/transfer case/differentials/cooling systems also.

I had been dwindling until the Walmart Castrol pricing error, then the threads on supply so I ordered a bunch of Mobil 1 0W-40 while its still $5 / quart. Probably up to about 75 - 80 quarts, likely a years worth for me.

Between this and filters I am more worried about supply than cost.

About 65 filters, 60 of which fit all four of my Toyotas. All were under $1.25 on rockauto closeout, most under a buck. Have some fancy Champion branded ones in a cute round cardboard holder but most are PG Carquest cheapies thrown loosely in one big box.

Oil is probably about 150 quarts. Lots of Valvoline and Kirkland 0w20. Xw30 weights go back to 2005 and the "Cars" movie maxlife tie-in. Also have green jugs of the Valvoline recycled flop "nexgen". I went a bit nuts getting "beater oil" just before I got a couple of brand new cars so it's slow to get used.

I'm one oil change into a new 20qt box of Valvoline Restore and Protect, I have a new box standing by, and another one set to be delivered tomorrow. So ~54 quarts of motor oil give or take.

15 qts of ULV/ULV Substitute

15 quarts of Maxlife ATF.

I should be good for whatever happens the next 2 years before I need to buy anything again.
