How big is your stash, hoarders?

Sorta hoarding. It’s nothing compared to some of you. I need more

This is for real a time when you should consider doing it again. Things are going to get interesting in motor oil production in the near future
You are probably correct, but hoarding oil is not for me anymore. I only plan to purchase supplies when I'm actually going to do an oil change. I'm open to using different brands of oil if necessary due to shortages.

5 quarts of Mobil 1 ESP that will be used within the week, partial 5-quart bottle of SuperTech that will supplement the add'l 0.6 quarts the Toyota needs, 1 open bottle/1 full bottle of 10W-40 for mower, and an almost empty 20W-50 for the mower's hydro units.

I am up to 40 quarts in my garage and two oil filters. 6 jugs of Kirkland and two of Valvoline Euro LL-04. Definitely the most I've ever had, this will be good for a couple of years.

I'm betting for most on here just servicing their own vehicle are changing the oil once or twice a year-depending on miles driven. If you are throwing away money every 2,500 or 3,000 miles-that's on you.
The dealer charges a little less than $100.00-and a skid plate has to be removed.

It's twice a year for me.

It's not a big deal financially-really.

I think this is the bottom line. The increases in food prices from inflation are the biggest line item for us, not to mention gas and insurance. The bag of salad greens we buy for salads and smoothies just went up nearly 50% overnight in price. I think the next inflation print from the fed is going to be parabolic from this silly nonsense in Iran.

Everybody's insurance is different of course, but we are at almost $4,000 a year for insurance. Of course we have income properties and umbrella.....but still.
