HondaAcura Oil Specs

I was on the Mobil 1 site looking at the 5w30 spec sheet:

Does anyone know what these honda specs RWC and HTO-06 are?
I think the later spec is for turbo, but I was looking for a good oil for our 2004 Acura 3.5RL. The owners manual just recommends API 5w30. Acura is not even requiring a SL, SM, etc..., which I kind of find strange. Currently, the car has 84K miles and has dino Quaker State 5w30.

Honda/Acura Oil Specs are: 5w30, all year, everywhere for Everything.

I dont think im that far off.

When i think "Honda" i think "Civic."
When i think "Acura" i think "Integra."

Even the larger engines probably use thin stuff. ITS HONDA.

Honda engines are very easy on oil, except the turbo RDX, that why they don't qualify certain brand to use in their engines, also they know that all modern API oils are good quality. Even the high rev engine in S2000 is recommended 10W30 of any brand.

I have a 2008 TL Type-S, with the same 3.5L your RL has, mine is spec'ed for 5w-20.

HTO-06 deposits control test.., I guess honda requirement for their turbocharged engines.

YES. Special test for deposit control of turbo charged engines. I believe that some Mobil 1 & PP both meet the spec in 5w30 grade.

PP's site is down so I don't know about that oil meeting Honda spec... Still, like I said above, the HT spec if obvious for turbo, but what is the RWC. Bueller?

In my '04 TL, I found that Redline 5w-20 performed exceptionally well. Smoothest the engine ever ran.

Both Pennzoil Platinum and Ultra 5w30 meet the Honda/Acura HT-06 spec.

I think it should be ‘Honda PWC’ = ‘Honda Personal WaterCraft’. Mobil 1 typo error?
