I wouldn't expect them to know anything other than to regurgitate information printed in the manual.
Even if they did, they would never admit it since they still actively sell the two fluids.
From what I'm reading on that posted Blackstone Labs report shows the fluids are similar, but not identical. Local Honda/Acura dealer swears they're the same. Posts on Honda/Acura forums have reported the fluids are different colors and smell different. Maybe that has changed? Guess we could pour each into a whiskey glass and have a sip.
