I've hunted wild boar in South Texas back in my younger days. We use to hunt them with S&W .357 and .44 mag pistols.

Hunting them with dogs is very fun. We get in close with a bang-stick (20 ga) and let em have it.

I watched a show on Direct TV on hog hunting. The introduction of hogs into non native habitat has caused an explosion of them.

The are being introduced into areas that never had hogs before. It seems they multiply like rats.

We had a thread about this not long ago... I don't know where it is though. It's fun to hunt hogs. Try it sometime. If you get a little one, you can actually cook them without them tasting horrible.
