While still not a great idea, I'd consider the cigs less dangerous at the reloading bench than the beer. That's the case as long as you're dealing with smokeless and not black powder.
One of the scariest moments I recall in a gun shop was when I asked if they had any FFF black powder in stock. The lady who was helping lit a cigarette and then, with it hanging out of her mouth said, "I'll have to check the powder magazine." I said "Don't worry-take your time" while I quickly made my way to the front of the store. She reported that they had some, but I waited until she was done to ask her to get it out
so it's a 3 qt change?
1 qt oil, 1 qt lucas, and 1 qt ice beast.
tear the filters off the cigs, and pack them into the old e-core, gets you another oci of filterin'
I was walking down Main St in town with a 12 pack of Red Dog in one hand and 2.5 gallons of gasoline in the other. It balanced nicely. An old guy saw me and said
"You've got Red Dog, you've got beer, you've got a party!"
On topic, every redneck in line in front of me in walmart is buying a 5 qt jug of M1 5w30 and a Fram orange filter. Like taking Sofía Vergara on a date... to McDonalds!
bunnspecial: That was funny.
Like the video of the guy in South America checking the emptiness of the fuel tanker and ACTUALLY LIGHTING A MATCH TO SEE INSIDE.
Laugh ! Good photo OP.
I know you are not looking for advice, but I would just use a cheap mineral 15W-40 HDEO, like this GTX Diesel that's CJ-4 / SL that Vlad-the-Russian posted recently
This is all very funny. I was hoping to get some good-natured abuse for using the Lucas even in this old truck knowing how the BITOG crowd felt about Lucas. I use something like 4.5 quarts of 5W-30 oil with a half quart of Lucas to slow the many oil leaks.
My step-dad owned this truck from the day it was new until 2010 when he sold it to me for $1,000. He put all the body dents in it while driving it around metro-Atlanta for 14 years. It's leaked oil and transmission fluid (ATF from where the transmission lines go into the radiator) since I've had the truck.
I just use this one as a rough work truck around our place here.
I don't smoke cigarettes, but I do drink the ultra-cheap beer when doing outdoor chores like changing oil. YEEE-HAAWW!
HBOC has all the right ingredients for sure.
An LAOC would be a BMW, some GC, a nice Cabernet, and a cuban stogie. Taken by the service manager of the dealership of course, just to document the occasion.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it was someone named "Lucas" who ruined it.
... To OP: Skip the Lucas.. leave the SuperTech, and buy yourself one of these:
FWIW, a friend of mine has a GMT400 Chevy Tahoe that I recently squeezed in a shot or two of Lucas for ATF in the power steering pump in an effort to slow down a leak. My neighbor had it on hand and she wanted it gone after offloading an Accord that used it. To my surprise the engine ain't leaking.
I do the equivalent of your oil change, with a craft IPA - too cold for a PBR or Coors Light.
