High Shear Rate Viscosity index - one step closer.

I remember the old 10W30s starting out at 35 psi, 1500 miles later, down to 30 psi. When the idiot light started to flicker at stop lights, speed up the idle.
Eventually if the oil wasn't changed, around 4,000 miles the oil pressure magically got better??
 
Dunno, existing VI doesn't take that into account...

As CATERHAM stated, it was amazingly good at holding (improving) it's viscosity index.
 
The main difference of DT40 is the presence of some Mpao in base and higher ZDDP content, as for their marketing talk.
