High Performance Lubricants (HPL) Vs AMSOIL

You can’t make long runs in that new truck due to fuel dilution - so I don’t see where either of these great lubricants will do anything for you …
First relevant question: does either HPL or Amsoil make an oil that is certified for use in OP’s truck? Recommendations, regardless of how much “better” an oil is, do not equal certifications especially if engine warranty work is involved, even if the true root cause was a manufacturing defect. The manufacturer will be “Katie bar the door” on those claims.

I feel the same way - but the last Dexos thread took it’s normal track and an extra exit or two … So stayed clear

To the OP: “better“ and “best” are highly subjective. So, there is no answer to your question.

@High Performance Lubricants has been more transparent on their formulations than any oil company. They use PAO, AN, and other base stocks with the highest performance (and most expensive) additives to achieve specific results.

There are thread stickies on HPL. There are discussions from the company founder/owner. There is a mountain of information and discussion on what makes HPL different.

I encourage you to search and read.
