High Performance Lubricants Engine Cleaner

As for mine and my ongoing results, just gets smoother and smoother, and much driving..

oil just hit the bottom of the dipstick due to what I believe is a leak, though could be higher than normal consumption due to additive changeover or whatever occurs when new oil is introduced... so half of this, and half of that, pictured, will be added.

Can we please talk about HPL’s engine cleaner and avoid speculation about people’s identity? The speculative posts are way off topic.

I did some 0-60 runs today with the HPL engine cleaner with my Molygen - times looked solid..ahahahaha.. 4.20, 4.22, 4.23.

Perhaps you would like a 0w8 version?

I’ll make you one. We have some really light esters.
Oh, you'll get some takers on that. I'll put in some of your 0W-20 lol.. 🤣

And now my post.. it was a balmy, sweltering 19°F degrees (it was cold) this morning and she started right up, maybe turned a little bit slower but only slightly, if it is low 20s or less it may turn over a little slower but always fires up in almost exactly one second.

Dave and HPL and the AN base products seem to really know what they are doing. I am beyond impressed. And it is good we all have some humor, and wit. All the more reason to support them with your business!

I have my very first gallon of used motor oil as well, Dave did say they dont test that or do UOA on their premises unless it is some kind of absolute emergency because it is dirty. Mine looks like Mud water.. well, maybe not that bad https://www.kachava.com/?gclid=CjwK...Od33d9JGhiKwbvJIkfW2tJ9ci78ytlnhoC7G8QAvD_BwE but definitely a solid grey/dark color.

Quick update on the HPL product test front. I just removed what may be the most relevant filter, of the 3 filters that are on their way to 53' Stude: The one that was added AFTER ~1000-1200 miles with the product in it. It is now off the car and I'm doing my best to get as much old oil out of it. It was a Supertech and I probably used it for about half of its rated life, between 3000-5000 miles, I have not been keeping exact track of mileage.

I'll see if I can get that one to him A.S.A.P. The other three *should* be coming, whenever the mail delivers them .

For a cut-open of a filter with oil we know has had HPL EC in it..

Still showing UV glow after ~2K miles on the Molygen AND ~500 miles with 1 qt of the HPL engine cleaner.

Not sure what this means. Is this good?

Mine is the color of some kind of blackish paint. Although, this morning on the dipstick it is clean because I changed my filter...

1000 more miles on my HPL added-in oil by tomorrow because driving to Chicago tonight...

Nothing really, just interesting. The UV additive usually fades out after a few K and I drained a qt to replace with the qt of HPL EC so should have diluted it a bit but still interesting that it's showing under the UV lamp. My oil looks new/clean - no grit/sediment etc. on the dipstick as would be expected on a 3 year old car with 70K and regular oil changes/engine flushes.

I'll give myself the Follow The Pen With My Eye test before going to work after hitting the bottle last night. 3/10ths of a quart added a full sump makes.

Oh and 53' Stude I missed the post office last night due to overtime. I'm trying to get there. It's fighting me, but I'll figure it out.

What is this with sending 53' Stude filters?

The other box wasnt mailed yet.

The white one has HPL use.. I wanna see how nasty it is!

He is going to cut them open.

I just want ta add schwinney that I am happy that you have been posting about this HPL Cleaner, but have you taken off your valve cover ta see what it looked like? This HPL Engine Cleaner looks like it a very good product, so schwinney, please keep us posted with your results?

Oh, absolutely. I will.

And I apologize for the delay, 10 hour days means I can not catch the post office. I tried. I am in contact with 53' Stude and the most relevant oil filter to cut open with HPL use is the white one previously on (for about 5000 miles from my visit New Years Eve to HPL to a few days ago, Monday or Tuesday.) I'll get it to him A.S.A.P.

I have it in a bag in the car and I'm about 300 miles into my Fram Ultra since Monday. Yes.. I am always driving so I will share what and when I can. Not a problem.
