I tried contacting Holley about thier Voodoo cams and they said they no longer own lunati but i can't find a site for lunati to ask what oil to use for break in and afterwards.
does anyone here know what to use or a link to lunati's website?

Not right off hand, but I'm sure they will recommend and oil like Shell Rotella T. For break in most cam companies recommend using GM EOS for the first 20 to 30 minutes. Harold Berkshire of Ultradyne cams designed the Voodoo line for Lunati and they apparently work well. Nowadays Harold mostly does one off grinds for customers.

Don't scrimp on the assembly lube, and use a good supplement like the EOS KW mentioned, or COMP Cams® Engine Break-In Additive (part #159). Crane, Crower and Isky probably offer similar additives, too.

If you really want to go wild, use the Joe Gibbs "Hot Rod" stuff http://www.joegibbshotrodoil.com/, although any SH/CI-4+ rated oil should certainly work, as it did for years before we got into the "ZDDP" wars.

I can't imagine how many engines I did in my misspent youth in the 70's and 80's, some with pretty wild flat tappet cams, using standard old Castrol GTX, with no problems.

A genius, IMO. His inverse ramp profiles really shook things up back in the '80's.
