My Mityvac fluid extractor seals have seen some usage over the years and it seems the seals have swelled to a point that they fold over now when trying to operate the syringe cam. Makes it extremely difficult to operate the cam and it does not function too well even when you do get movement. Can’t seem to find anything on Mityvac’s site so I was curious if anyone has replaced the seals and if so, what did you replace them with? I would hate to just toss it and buy new if I don’t have to.

Talked to Mityvac this morning. They don't sell the seal kit direct. Had to order online at A&A Hyrdaulic and the seal kit is part # 801785. 2 kits with shipping is almost the cost of a new one.

Hard to describe, as they have a gap on the other side that allows the seal to compress a bit I believe.

This has worked for me in a variety of situations where I don't need a lot of volume.
That's a pretty custom made part. I don't think any standard cross section shapes will work.

Closest I could find was in the plumbing section at HD, but they were much stiffer and didn't fit right. Definitely something I hadn't seen before.

Got the new seals. Piston slides back and forth like new.

A look at what was happening with the old/original seals, the new seal kit and the new seal kit installed.
