Hi,

I installed a trial of Microsoft Visio a while back.

The trial expired, but now "every" time I try to open "any" picture a pop-up screen says the trial has expired and click install to purchase and install.

So, I keep canceling it as there's no way to stop the pop-up.

Got sick of the pop-up, so I uninstalled Visio.

Now, "every" time I open anything in MS Office I get a pop-up that states: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package "ProrWW.msi" in the box below.

Use source: C:\MSOCache\All Users\{91120000-0014 etc...

Ok does nothing. Hitting Cancel gives me an error 1706.Setup cannot find the required files, etc. See SETUP.CHM. Then I get a Red Box "X" fatal error.

Not sure where the MS Office disks are. What do I do...??

I do have Norton back-up disks here though, but doesn't work so far...

Thanks...

Still lost. Everytime I try to open Excel, etc., winsows inslaller opens then it seems to be looking for installation package "ProrWW.msi"...

This is what I just did.

Went to the Back-up & Restore Center, chose the date 3/31 and did a restore.

Now I can open up Excel, but when I go to open up a picture, the same error comes up only a Visio error. Ugh.

Went into the picture's properties and it has it opening with Office 2010. I don't have Office 2010, just Office 2007.

I changed it to open with Windows Photo Gallery.

Did you try uninstalling the Visio trial software with something like Revo Uninstaller?
