help pick a car

I doubt that she will drive any car more than 5K a year while she is in college, and if she does she isn't studying enough. Get a good used car. Why put a college student into a new car that is going to lose all that value.

Nice car, But terrible gas mileage. Look at high 20s with it.

My next door neighbor has one and drives it very easy on freeway only (45 mile one way commute) and 29 is the best he has seen in 7k miles.

My Dads 2001 Civic LX with Auto sold for $9400 with A/C, 24k miles. And who bought it? A college student! Good car in perfect cond for her.
