HELP, Nissan Pathfinder won't start..

I went to start my 91 pathfinder (auto transmission) today and nothing happend. starter motor won't turn, battery is good just nothing happens when I turn the key (not even any wierd or clicking sound)but all the gauges and warning light comes on..what should I look for?, where to start?

99% of the time it is the starter. Here's an easy way to test it. The starter is on the pass. side of the engine under the exhaust manifold. Have someone sit inside the thing and hold the key on "start" while you tap on the starter with a long extension or hammer. If it tries to start you have found your problem. If not PM me and i'll point you in another direction.

That weird clicking sound is a solenoid in the starter motor engaging the bendix drive gear with the flywheel, but still not receiving enough current from the battery to turn over the starter motor.

Check all the battery cable connections first. Check where the cables connect to the battery terminals. Check to make sure the positive cable is tight on the starter terminal. Check to make sure the negative ground cable it tight against its ground connection.

Have someone turn the key while you check the voltage to the starter with a volt meter.

I'd agree with both of the above suggestions; I'll also add I had starting problems with an old ford that was traced to ground problems with the starter relay. If it is a rust bucket, keep this in mind.
