Help me find a battery for Nissan Rogue

Daughter has a 2018.5 Nissan Rogue Sport S and it's due for a battery. All I can seem to find online is AGM and no normal batteries? Normally I'd just shoot for something that has the right dimensions or a little bigger and stuff it in and call it a day. In her car there is considerable stuff going over the battery as well as around it so I'm inclined to just get the right size. Size is H5, they seem to range from $179-$300, Walmart Everstart being the cheapest without buying something off Amazon. Costco doesn't carry one and the Interstate is only a 3yr for $254. I'm thinking the Everstart with the 4yr warrant is probably the smartest choice. I've never had an issue finding affordable batteries around $100 or so, did they all just pretty much double in price over the last 2-3 years?

Thanks for any brands or suggestions I'm missing.

Check out O’Reilly they got a $25 rebate going on.

You might be able to do a 2 yr super start for $170+ tax after refundable core and rebate.

If you're looking for a lead acid non AGM battery, you're looking for a group 47 battery. Is the original AGM? If so, I'd stick with AGM. Good luck!

Does your Rogue have the stop/start feature? If it does then the original battery was likely an enhanced flooded battery (EFB). This is likely why all listings are for the AGM.

If you have the original battery then verify the design. If you need an EFB then then $179 from WalMart (H5, group 47 EFB) is about as good as you're going to find.

Nope, no start / stop. Well since all the batteries I'm looking at are more expensive than the 4yr Everstart I guess that's the most economical way and has the longest warranty. Thanks guys, I just wondered what I was missing.

I went through the same a year ago for a friend and got her a Walmart AGM (made in Korea) with the four year free replacement warranty. Checked Batteries Plus and Costco (my former "go to"), but price, warranty and convenience made Walmart the logical choice.

The rogue sport uses a different battery than the rogue. H5 isn't available in value to my knowledge. Rogue uses a much more common 35 group size

I found this one if I take out the vehicle and only search by size / group. Of course for $109 and Walmart says it doesn't fit even though exactly the same size... Slightly different CCA but I can't imagine her tiny Rogue needing an AGM battery.

Our local shop is an Interstate dealer and nobody else touches our cars so we've gone with those batteries. We've had good luck so far. Good luck with your decision.

It's not an AGM, that's a lead acid Group 47; see my earlier post (#5).
I understand that. The AGM is $180, this one was $109, her Rogue Sport doesn't start/stop or any real options to speak of, what I'm saying is why would it need an AGM battery?

My Rav4 came from the factory with an H5. However the tray had room and the extra screw down hole for the bottom clamp for a H6 - which is 1.4 inches longer. You might want to check the tray to see if yours is the same? H6 is larger, the same price at Walmart, and seemingly more readily available.

I went with the Everstart non AGM 3 year from Walmart. To be honest not particularly happy with it. Its already showing 70% State of health from my tester. The car is not short tripped, and I put the thing on my noco trickle charger every month or so. Its likely the same JCI battery you get at any of these places, and unfortunately I can't find a Deka around here.

The only that is really viable is if the OP is fortunate enough to have an OR accessible that will price match WM.
Because the value of a $25 GC from OR probably won't even get you an OC of any kind, even store brand, on sale.

Thanks all, I'm just going to go the easy route with the AGM from WM with the 4yr warranty. I'm doubting she'll have the car another 4yrs anyway, I was just trying to help her out on the budget.
