Help me decide on filter size.

Specimen is a 1985 3/4 ton 2wd 5.7

I cant figure out which one I should use.

Wix site lists 51061 and 51060 as stock. What are the differences in those two, they are the exact same size.

My other options are 51794 and 51069.

Wix site lists the 51060 when I cross reference the PH5 and it lists the 51061 when I punch in the vehicle directly.

One Has A ADBV and one doesn't right. I was sitting here thinking about it after I posted.

Maybe they spec one of those filters for any oil cooler.
Some trucks can or can't have one. It's optional or part of a tow package.

Just a guess.

Interesting ...per the WIX website the beta ratio is better for the 51061 .. that would imply the media is different .. otherwise the specs are the same .. the AC Delco PN for the 5.7 is PF1218 which WIX crosses to the 51060 .. Another option is to use the filter designed for the 6.6 Duramax Diesel .. It will fit in place of the PF1218 but the specs are better .. WIX version is 57202 .. Baldwin B1411 or Mobil-1 M1-303 are also good choices …

I noticed the same thing.

The 57202 you listed has a bypass valve, My app requires no bypass. Dont know if it really matters or not though.

most likely the 5.7 bypass valve is on the engine side .. one would think having an extra one should not cause a problem .. could be a benefit

I would use a PF1218 or cross it to your favorite..
