Help choosing Spark plug socket

Soooo… how does it work??

I got the maintenance minder notice on my accord hybrid, for spark plugs amongst other things. Bought the plugs and they’re 14mm with smaller porcelain than even my lawnmower plug, it seems.

Looking for a socket, leaning towards koken, but considering other versions as well. Interesting that yours doesn’t use clips, rubber, or magnets. What is the downside??

Works as described. The only downside is, that maybe it doesn't hold right away. If there isn't enough torque on the spark plug, it may not "retain" by tension. I had to really try and make it do this, so still worked. Of course there is the psychological effect of knowing there is nothing mechanical holding the plug. Sliding down that long tube was a bit precarious trying to make sure plug didnt fall out. It takes some time to get used to.

Not the cheapest, but certainly among the best.

I use this socket on my Toyotas. Works great.
