Can anyone tell me who makes these. On the can it says Chevron/Texaco Oil Products. Our local Fred's Discount Store stocks these @ $2.69. I think someone inquired about this before but I can't seem to locate the thread.

A few years ago, my local Advance Auto Parts Store was carrying them. The Havoline filter box highly mentioned about preventing sludge. But, I havent seen them in awhile. I beleive they were made by Purolator.
Walmart had them here for about a month. They put them all on clearance and got rid of the line shortly after. Now I'm pretty sure that they don't even stock havoline oil in 5 quart jugs.
