That actually meant that it was good for 2,000 miles.It was referred to the 2k oil of it`s time.
 
The link does not lead to the "two thousand" logo. It leads to a cartoon of an oversized driver in a small car with an oversized shifter. The car is mid 60's vintage.
 
I didn't think that's what you were referring to. I wouldn't even call that a "logo". It's not meant to identify the brand in a symbol, it's more of an advertising picture. Like would you consider the Energizer bunny a "logo"?

And yes, the "two thousand" logo is there.

In any case, can anyone confirm that this is the same charactiture as was used by Kendall in the 60s?

I would think that the Energizer bunny is a registered trademark and may even be used as a logo. But, I grant that the "guy in the car" cartoon is not likely to be considered a logo (a graphic representation that can be used to signify a company, brand, or organization).
