The stock will be volatile but not the extent of going from being a 60B company in 2017 to a 1T company in 2021.
The volatility was also a function of the shorts and the short position has dramatically come down to 2-3% of the outstanding stock. But anything is possible and IMO long term investors will be rewarded be it index or individual stocks.
My 401K is vested and I do love the volatility and have many good returns playing with individual stocks and its not a capital event. Also lost some but overall volatility is good if you know what you want and can exit a position without a capital event
