Has TESLA stock price finished dropping, or how low will it go?

It is a big correction and todays action is not helping. Watch that $140 level. If it closes below that then get out of the way.

Depends on what is next "pushing the boundaries" thing he does on Twitter.
Tesla's stock price is the direct consequence of his adolescent behavior.
Musk definitely plays his cards differently that his near peers.

Jeff Bazos, richest person in the world at the time he bought the Washinton Post

Carlos Slim, richest person in Mexico at the time he bought the New York Times

Whatever Elon is doing- it is interesting to observe. He definitely is not taking easy nor welcoming roads.

New low today, it needs to drop more.

Excellent company that has lots of innovation.

Realistically, we need to see the Tesla Truck come to market and then find out if the shine is still on Teslas. Also, watch the Chinese economy as they lump all the sales together with the North American market. The market share of electric vehicles in North America is going down as the competitors arrive. Right now Tesla has just over 1/2 of the North American electric vehicle market. California continues to be the main market in NA.

Twitter is unique. It has world audience unlike WaPo or NYT which are old fashioned, subscription based newspaper platforms.
Many use Twitter as only platform to get information out etc.

I wont' speak for Slim's NYT purchase, but Bezos purchase on the nation's capital premier newspaper likely had more opportunities for benefits than just return on his capital investment in the paper.

I am not sure Musk is making many friends nor influencing many decision makers with his purchase of twitter. I do hope it works out for him; he has the guts that nobody in his net worth bracket has.

Is this the big Tesla stock correction that a few have been predicting?
Will it normalize on PE ratio?
And what is that new PE normal?

"Hey motor oil bulletin board, how should I trade stocks?" is one of the silliest questions asked around here.
And people ask some pretty silly questions.

@Danno why would you ever think any response here is actionable???

That’s a far fetching prophecy and not very accurate IMO.

Tesla has had recalls in consecutive business days. On top of that the Chinese have threatened lockdowns due to covid.

Just my $0.02

There has been a lot of talk recently that, between Space X, The Boring Company and now Twitter, Musk is way too distracted, to give Tesla the attention it needs, And, as some say, the attention Tesla deserves. Could this also be a factor in the recent loss in TSLA value?

Since he announced that he wants to take over Twitter, stock went down 49%.
Since he took over, 27%.
It has everything to do with it. He paid 44bln (of which 12 are from that butcher in Saudi Arabia) for everyone to watch his adolescence behavior in open. It is not something that investors find attractive.

I view Elon Musk's businesses solely as military contractors. In the case of Tesla, it is the self-propelled AI and battery technology. The consumer part is just the subsidy of the R&D costs.

Tech stocks are taking a beating, erratic CEO....sounds like a recipe for a bumpy ride but at this point nothing makes much sense so who knows.
