I was checking out the new Rural King in my area tonight and it appears they’ve done away with their Harvest King house oil and replaced with with Providence Automotive. Same grades and price, just new labeling.
Design and color of that quart bottle looks exactly the same as the ones I bought at Rural King in 2015, when the brand on the label was "RK," and the back label said "Packaged by Warren Oil Company, Inc."
Not unusual. GM doesn't require/recommend 5W-20 in their engines so there's no reason for an oil company to seek the Dexos license for their 5W20.It appears the 5w30 is dexos approved but not the 5W-20![]()
Yessir … 0w20 and 5w30 for lions share of D1 …Not unusual. GM doesn't require/recommend 5W-20 in their engines so there's no reason for an oil company to seek the Dexos license for their 5W20.
It says on bottom of back label made for Rural King and address is same.
Me thinks it just got new labels as jug style is still same. Maybe I’m just retarded
The 2.5 4 cylinder used in some Malibu's and Impala's called for 5w20 dexos. Not unusual. GM doesn't require/recommend 5W-20 in their engines so there's no reason for an oil company to seek the Dexos license for their 5W20.
They had the chicks...not sure about goats. But one great thing is the self serve popcorn is back!Did the new Rural King have baby chicks and ducks, or any baby goats?
You have to go to one to understand.

It looked like my RK inventory of their $1.99 oil filters was running low.I was in RK today and they didn't have this ,'Providence' oil yet...in fact they were pretty low on HK in all flavors too. It also looks like they aren't restocking the $1.99 Primeguard oil filters either.
