NFL here we come.
Guilty as charged!NFL here we come.
The state of Michigan has already indicated they are going to fight this. Court injunction likely incoming.
You left out one last step:Here's what usually happens on an investigation like this:
The NCAA tells the press that they are investigating (the college of your choice here) for infractions.
The college that is being prosecuted then says in a press release that they are cooperating 100%.
Shortly after that, the college has their legal team stonewall the investigators or fight any sanctions that come down.
This is especially true when Michigan is 9-0.
I remember when SMU got death, but known SEC (& other Power 5) cheaters got “double secret probation” or some other joke slap on the wrist! You left out one last step:
#6, The NCAA was SO infuriated with Ohio St. (or Notre Dame, or USC or any other perennial power) cheating, they gave upper-eastern -southwest-whatever-Missouri State the death penalty.
Yep, the next Pete CarrollNFL here we come.
The late, great U-M coach & A.D. Bo Schembechler has spent his most recent past, constantly rolling over in his grave, over disgust with his former QB Jim Harbaugh.
I am one of U-M's biggest fans and Jim deserves to be fired A.S.AP. What a disgrace he has landed on this fine Institution.
Every college has an Athletic Foundation which is ostensibly economically separate from the academic budgets. Coaches are paid mostly from the sports revenue of tickets, TV contracts, and alumni contributions. It's not tax money.the highest paid public employees in most states are the college football coaches
you can rationalize it any way you want because everyone involved rationalizes it one way or the other... .. so if the university is a public entity, it is what it is.Every college has an Athletic Foundation which is ostensibly economically separate from the academic budgets. Coaches are paid mostly from the sports revenue of tickets, TV contracts, and alumni contributions. It's not tax money.
..... then it proves the entire governing body of Big Ten and NCAA execs are corrupt. There's no way any College Sports Governship can allow these last three games for U-M and not allow U-M in Tourney-Time around Thanksgiving. So it appears U-M will play, for a chance at a Championship Game.I doubt it... the highest paid public employees in most states are the college football coaches and those coaches aren't brought in so they can lose.. the fans don't care either because they want a winner.. .. college sports are so full of hypocrisy it is beyond me why anyone cares... and if Michigan wins its next 3 games then what?
