Im wondering how bad having an Engine Half a Quart to One Quart Overfull in Engine Oil will affect the Engine?
I also wonder if it will be less Negligible on an engine that holds 8 Quarts (like my Jaguar, or a Corvette) instead of 4-5 Quarts (as most do) ?
Im sure its fine.. I just wonder if that would actually HELP Oil getting up to the Upper Cylinders faster, regardless of Grade?
My Car Pressurizes fast, i wonder if these numbers are Good:
1) First turned on, Idle: 65Psi
2) Warmed up, Idle, 10 Minutes: Still 65-ish PSi
3) Hot, (20 minutes) at Stop light: 20-40 Psi
4) Hot, Driving down Road: 60-ish PSi
(Oil Pressure affecting Lube Speed of Upper Cylinders, my car pressurizes nice and quickly.)
Thoughts?
