My F150 was recently totaled. I'm disappointed at how poorly Allstate is treating me. I'd be out prob $7 to $10K to exactly replace my perfect truck. And out $55K to purchase a new version.
It's not just that the NADA value does not represent what these things actually sell for. It's that newer similar vehicles sticker for Eighty Thousand Dollars. Holy mother of god, that's steep. By way of comparison, using the CPI (consumer price index) calculator, a new version of my truck should be $55K, not 80
OP, your truck is easily repairable, is not too old, and a new direct replacement will be expensive. It is good that your insurance company is working with you! Lessens the pain somewhat.
