This is my first experience applying a ceramic coating - an application review, not long term performance. Gyeon Can Coat EVO gets excellent reviews and many are reporting one year longevity. In short, I can say this is very easy to apply and I highly recommend it for the ceramic coating novice (it's intended target).
I followed the usual coating prep instructions to achieve squeaky clean paint. Wash, clay bar, rinse, polish - I did a faux hand polish with Mequires, prep clean with IPA solution or Gyeon Prep.
I used a mini microfiber application pad ( https://www.autofiber.com/products/...g4OaA61yWIbD9Z9mhyToN9uWy6lHCKuu1zrAGcxklw7XU ) , one panel at a time (hood in 3 sections). Wet the pad, wipe on (2 directions for me), wipe off after about 1/2 to 1 minute when it starts to flash. I used the enclosed towel to wipe off, then followed with a second microfiber towel wipe. Application ease makes up for prep procedure. Instructions allow a second coat, one hour apart - of course I did two, per BITOG OCD rules.
Time will tell regarding performance. Cons: extensive paint preparation. IMO, only use in an enclosed, controlled garage. 12 - 24 hour cure before getting wet. Pricey? - about $75 for prep/coating - enough for 4 to 6 applications. Pros: Very easy/forgiving. High gloss shine. Hopefully one year protection.
