Gummiest engine ever

Back when I worked at Land Rover, this lady brought her LR in and it had just 20K miles on it, had never had an oil change, and it was worse than that. This was around the year 2000.

My wife had a 2004 or 2005 LR. The oil cooler split and it made a nice oil/coolant milkshake. Less than one year into ownership . Turned out to be the first of many warranty repairs for that vehicle.

Better yet, M1 Advanced Clean will 1-shot that thing!

In 12,000 miles, there is no way any oil will leave that sludge. That engine ran out of oil multiple times; they just added some and constantly drove oxidation crazy high, leaving sludge, running out, putting some oil in, and oxidation goes up, leaving sludge.....

12k or not, that oil hasn’t ever been changed.

1) All of the above and maybe one of the "10 inferior oils from the 1930's cited by the Ohio Weights and Measures Dept." was used?
It sure looks like stupids were at the helm.

2) Did somebody hear him say it was a car used by a security company?
I couldn't get into the video. I had to bail as he read the headings of the diagnostic tool.
That guy talked and talked and said nothing.

3) If it was a security company car, I wonder if it was indeed run 3 8-hour shifts a day with guys just sitting in the AC.
If so, I hope the guards were at least studying

Or a diesel

If new ones wet stack like the old ones it would still be a disaster. Emissions system would need replacing also.

I have horror stories of diesels idling all day in below zero weather for a week, not just wet stacking. Expensive lesson for some people and those people were us, the tax payer.
