Gulf production slowly returning

Wonder if that will or has been the reason that gasoline prices have been dropping like crazy. 1.96 here in Ok-ra-homa.

the gas price spike was due to refineries being damaged or at least shut down for the storms. The largest US refinery just came back to 100% production last week.

This article deals with production (crude oil and nat'l gas).

On Monday (11-07) 51 percent of oil production and 45 percent of natural gas production in the Gulf remained off line.
