You’d think there would be some avenue for emergency services to relay the message from the semi to the rail line to try to prevent this.
I think DOT requires trucking company to notify the cities / counties when it’s transporting oversized loads and get a permit so stuff like this doesn’t happen.
100% blame on the trucking company.
The permit here is issued by the California highway patrol and they tell you when you can drive and what rout you must take.
