Group 7 by Purolator V2222 Cut Open

Ran for 5 months/5.5k miles in my 2018 Ram 1500 5.7l

Free using ebay bucks. Old old filter, figure Id run it anyway with some 7.99/5QT Mobil 1 Truck and SUV 5w30.

Torn media at seam.

Replaced with an old Auto Extra 57060 also free using EbayBucks and Amalie Pro Syn Blend 5w20..

Nitrile ADBV still flexible. Held oil still although this was only an hour after changing

Wavy pleats get uglier as it gets to the seam. Near baseplate torn media. Ah well.

To add: this was a pre louvers purolator jobber filter. Theyve since renamed this line the Purolator Tech lineup.

Who knows when it tore?
Good thing I do around 5K ocis and not FCA recommended 10k

Im not really worried about the tear. The Mobil 1 looked barely used to be honest.

Glad I got that noisy stuff out though...
