A) I like 'em.
B) I've had 'em in Dallas, N'yallans (New Orleans) and our nation's capital. Atmosphere, an important part of happy food memories.
C) They're on my shopping list now too. I can't believe I've overlooked them for so long. Everyone in this house is a carbs freak.
ENVIABLE ANECDOTE:
In the woods of a far off land I reacted positively to the hot cereal served.
My host went out and bought all 8 different "grot" (the o has 2 dots over it) offerings at the store.
It's pronounced: gruhht.
CONTEST:
Guess the language/country.

Being in Kentucky, I love grits anytime and especially with butter and sugar and a dab of Sweet Italian Cream coffee creamer. It is like warm ice cream for breakfast. I'll have some of those biscuits and peppered gravy too.

I like them with butter and salt or butter, salt, and a tad of sugar. Best I have ever eaten was in a restaurant in down town Atlanta. They fixed theirs with red-eye gravy, and I went for seconds.

I'm a transplanted Yankee. When I moved to NC I tried grits and liked them. Now I make them frequently. I have always tried the local food when I travel to a foreign country. 🥣
